Put it into practice
Work on a copy and reduce the problem to the smallest object that still shows it. Record the message, software version and geometry change that resolves or reproduces the issue.
Keep a useful record
Save an editable working copy and label your experiment with its intended size and material. Compare the preview with a sample before repeating the setup on a finished item. Note what changed and what remained constant so the next attempt answers a specific question. A screen preview helps with planning, while the sewn result shows how the material behaves.
