Image Color Picker
Click anywhere on an image to get its HEX, RGB and CMYK values.
Upload an image and click (or tap) any pixel to read its exact color as HEX, RGB, CMYK and HSL. A zoom loupe helps you land on exactly the right pixel. Everything runs locally in your browser.
How it works
- Drop an image — logos, product photos, screenshots all work.
- Click any point to sample its color; recent picks are kept as swatches.
- Copy the HEX, RGB, CMYK or HSL value with one tap.
Good to know
- JPG compression shifts edge pixels slightly — sample from the middle of a color area, not its border.
- CMYK conversion here is the standard formula without a printer ICC profile — real presses vary, so treat CMYK values as a starting point and let your printer do the final separation.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the same logo show slightly different colors in different spots?
Lossy compression (JPG, WEBP) blends neighbouring pixels, and anti-aliased edges mix the two colors they sit between. Sample from the center of large flat areas for the true brand color.
Can I match a picked color to embroidery thread?
Thread charts (Madeira, Isacord and others) each have their own numbered colors, so matching means finding the nearest thread to your RGB value. Send us your artwork and our digitizers will spec exact thread colors as part of any order — it's included, not extra.
