Frequently asked questions
Why do dimensions matter more than DPI?+
Pixels are the real content of an image; DPI is just a note about how densely to print them. A 4000-pixel-wide image can print 13 inches wide at 300 DPI regardless of what its DPI label says.
What size artwork should I supply for a custom patch?+
Any clear image works — patches are stitched from a digitized file, not printed from your image. Around 1000 pixels on the long side is comfortable; the key is that text and details are legible.
