Frequently asked questions
Does cropping reduce image quality?
No — cropping only removes pixels outside the selection. The pixels you keep are untouched (the file is re-encoded, at maximum quality for JPG output).
Why crop artwork before requesting embroidery digitizing?
You don't need to — our digitizers isolate the design themselves. But cropping helps when a logo sits inside a screenshot or photo, so the important part is obvious.
