Start here to understand the basic path from vector artwork to an embroidery design.
Put it into practice
Draw a small, simple motif using your own artwork. Follow the basic workflow, inspect its stitch preview, and identify which parts are outlines and which are filled areas.
Keep a useful record
Save an editable working copy and label your experiment with its intended size and material. Compare the preview with a sample before repeating the setup on a finished item. Note what changed and what remained constant so the next attempt answers a specific question. A screen preview helps with planning, while the sewn result shows how the material behaves.
